Peter Singer, often described as the world's most influential living philosopher, is professor of bioethics at Princeton University, and author of more than 20 books.  In his latest book, THE MOST GOOD YOU CAN DO: How Effective Altruism is Changing Ideas About Living Ethically, Singer presents his case for "effective altruism" -- a challenging new movement of people who want to live more altruistically while taking a critical look at traditional philanthropy.  Singer will discuss ways to make the most impact for global good.  Mandy Moore, acclaimed singer-songwriter and actress, will talk about her work as a PSI ambassador and global advocate for girls and women.

Program begins at 6pm, doors open at 5:30pm.  Book Buyers Reception to follow.
